Preparation of the unit and admission of clients to ward, Assessment of vital parameters of clients, assessment of patients admitted to the ward, Care of equipments and supplies on the block, inventory of drugs and supplies, Maintaining records and reports, Providing basic nursing care to the clients and attending to the activities of daily living such as suctioning, positioning and other personal needs of the clients, Communicating with clients, relatives and the health team and clarifying doubts of the clients, Preparation of medicine tray and crash cart, Collection of sample (routine and sterile), evaluation And reporting of results, Preparation of patients for various surgical procedures, Preparation of patients for various investigations such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, USG, Bronchoscopy, Endoscopy, Maintenance of Fluid and Electrolyte Balance, Maintaining barrier nursing techniques and prevention of cross infection, Provision of sterile supply, Administration of prescribed medicines as ordered, Health education, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Provide emotional support to clients and family.
