DESCRIPTION : The goal of this project is to reducing the environmental pollution while

Constructing major structures. Green concrete is eco-friendly concrete. Concrete that uses less energy

in its production & products less carbon dioxide than normal concrete is green concrete. Green

construction materials are composed of renewables, rather than non-renewable resourses. Green

materials are environmentally responsible because impacts are considered over the life of the product.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GREEN CONCRETE:

Optimizes use of available materials.

Better Performance.

Enhanced cohesion workability / consistency.

Reduced shrinkage / creep.

Durability-Better service life of concrete.

Reduced carbon footprint and cost.

ADVANTAGES:

Much change is not required for the preparation of green concrete compared to conventional concrete.

Reduces environmental pollution and have good thermal and acid resistance.

Reduces the consumption of cement overall.

APPLICATIONS:

The focus of this technology is mainly based on carbon dioxide reduction, while whole environmental impact should be covered and accordingly investigations should not only make in the field of structures build with it.
