Responsible for fleet operations and maintenance of refrigerated container trucks and trailers in transporting McDonald’s frozen products and other food and packaging materials from its distribution center to its restaurants all over the country. In one year, contributed P3 million in savings from various programs including preventive maintenance, maximizing use of lube oils before replacement, streamlining offloading operations by eliminating double handling and thereby saving in labor. Phinma-Himb was one of the largest ready mix concrete marketing and distribution companies in the Philippines.
Responsible for operations and maintenance of a fleet of transit mixers and pay loaders in delivery of ready mix concrete from batching plants in five different geographic locations. Accomplishments include meeting the targeted availability and utilization of its aging fleet (average truck age: 20 years) in 6 months time upon employment by initially improving repair response, instituting preventive maintenance inspection program and by continuously improving distributing work loads of transit mixers. Delsan was the leading private domestic petroleum shipping company in the Philippines.
Responsible for operations and maintenance of fleet of ships supervising over 100 personnel. Main contribution was the continually increasing operating income by an average of P5 million per year for 5 consecutive years by improving on vessel availability and utilization, continually improving control of port costs, optimizing use of lube oils and by converting fuel from pure diesel to a less costly diesel/IFO blend.
