Havi Food owns and operates the distribution center for McDonald’s Philippines Inc. Its majority stockholder among others is Havi Foods Worldwide, a multinational company operating all distribution centers for McDonald’s worldwide.

Responsible for fleet operations and maintenance of refrigerated container trucks and trailers in transporting McDonald’s frozen products and other food and packaging materials from its distribution center to its restaurants all over the country. In one year, contributed P3 million in savings from various programs including preventive maintenance, maximizing use of lube oils before replacement, streamlining offloading operations by eliminating double handling and thereby saving in labor. Fleet Operations & Maintenance Manager

Phinma-Himb was one of the largest ready mix concrete marketing and distribution companies in the Philippines.

Responsible for operations and maintenance of a fleet of transit mixers and pay loaders in delivery of ready mix concrete from batching plants in five different geographic locations. Accomplishments include meeting the targeted availability and utilization of its aging fleet (average truck age: 20 years) in 6 months time upon employment by initially improving repair response, instituting preventive maintenance inspection program and by continuously improving distributing work loads of transit mixers. Puyat Steel Corporation is one of the pioneers in steel roof manufacturing in the Philippines and was a strong market leader in its industry. As Project Manager I was primarily responsible for a P50 million retrofitting project but was made responsible for Engineering Department as well.

Arabian Danish Paint was the manufacturer of Dyrup Paints (one of the better known brands in Europe) in Saudi Arabia.

Responsible for maintenance and engineering and for site supervision of the construction of a new $22 million manufacturing plant. Prior turn over of the newly constructed plant, I trained all operations personnel (multi- culture) in safety in highly hazardous work environment. January 1989 to October 1993

Dutch Boy Philippines Inc.

Engineering Manager

Dutch Boy was the second largest paint company in the Philippines Responsible for all civil, mechanical and electrical works in its Pasong Tamo manufacturing plant. Concurrently held the position of Fire Marshall, Safety Engineer and Pollution Control Officer. Accomplishments include setting up of preventive maintenance, safety inspection and fire fighting training programs. Installed several paint manufacturing equipment of various sizes and designs. Delsan Transport Lines Inc. (Petroleum shipping by sea) Operations Manager

Delsan was the leading private domestic petroleum shipping company in the Philippines.

Responsible for operations and maintenance of fleet of ships supervising over 100 personnel. Main contribution was the continually increasing operating income by an average of P5 million per year for 5 consecutive years by improving on vessel availability and utilization, continually improving control of port costs, optimizing use of lube oils and by converting fuel from pure diesel to a less costly diesel/IFO blend.
