Assigned as a driver in their Return to Vendor (RTV) Department. Responsible for operation of most warehouse equipment. In addition to operating a scissor lift, I am certified in the operation of both single and double pallet riders, forklifts including dock truck and reach truck. This equipment is used to offload trucks and stage items for sorting and shipping to Dick’s stores or returns to vendors. I am very comfortable using a reach truck for storing full pallets of inventory in tall racks. I am also proficient in processing defectives and claims.
In addition to the above skills I have also been in charge of daily safety inspections of machinery including trash auger, plastic bailer and regular oversight of the warehouse hazmat area. I am proficient at training others on safety protocols and safe operation of all electric and hydraulic equipment.
