INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP

2014 (July – September): Took part in a 6 week AIESEC project in Almaty, Kazakhstan called “INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF LEADERSHIP” where I was a part of an international team of educators teaching at local universities. Subjects taught include General Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Planning and Develpoment, Business Plan Development and Implementation, Market Analysis, Soft Skills, Leadership Skills, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, etc.

SKILLS AND INTERESTS:

Music: Music teacher, singer and adept player of guitar, keyboard, piano. Took part in and won various national level events, both as a band and as a solo act. Undertook several independent professional assignments for performance at various private and corporate events, as well as concerts, for more than 12 years. Also called upon frequently to judge similar competitions.

Public Speaking and Quizzes: Winner and participant of various events like Debates, Elocution, Extempore, Quizzes, etc., ranging from school and college level to national level.

Anchoring: Apart from anchoring various school, college and professional events, was featured as the anchor/newsreader/correspondent for the television show for teenagers called ‘Amaari Vaato’ aired on Tara Channel, for a short period of time in 2000-2001.

Others: Apart from these major activities, I take interest in acting, photography, painting, designing, ad making and other creative arts, swimming, playing tennis, traveling and am a voracious reader, book collector and a dedicated fan of the cinema.
