Besides my writing work I do, from time to time, work manual labor for the exercise and supplemental income. This is a side thing and does not interfere with my writing career in any way. But, I do use it to focus my mind on other tasks and increase my mental dexterity and problem solving.

ASSOCIATE ARTS
Two years of college experience in an arts program focusing on writing. I’d say this is where I really began my passion for language, but it’s been a part of my life for much longer than that. I used this education to sharpen the skills I had already begun honing.
COMMUNICATION
People say I’m pretty charismatic. In my 3 years in New Bern, NC I have involved myself in multiple local businesses and community projects. Sometimes even spearheading the work itself by getting groups of people together under one goal. I have used my writing here as well, in a local blog to drive business and attention to places I feel deserving of it. I’ve been highly successful in the past with this.
LEADERSHIP
I tend to keep to myself more nowadays, but there are times where I have to plan and lead others. I’ve helped many friends in the past struggling and helped to show them ways out of their situations by using my problem solving strategies on their lives. I find myself leading my co-workers and friends more often than not.
