Cases Handled:
Cardiac cases-CAD, arrhythmias, heart failure, aneurysm, unstable angina, myocardial infarction, patient's who underwent cardiac procedure or intervention like cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous transluminal coronary angiography

Carry out procedure like insertion of peripheral lines, foley's catheter, rectal tubes, arterial lines and blood transfusion
Assisting the doctor during intubation, chest tapping, chest tube drain insertion
Receiving and endorsing narcotic and dangerous medications
Following up infection control strategies in the IMCU ward
Administers medications as prescribed by the treating physicians using the 7 Rights
Checking Emergency Trolley
Prepare administer critical medication like STK, Aggrastat, Nimotop, Noreadrenaline, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Xylocaine, Morphine, etc.
Monitor and record vital signs and detect deviations from normal and able to refer them accurately to the health team.
Working harmoniously with other nursing staff, charge nurse, head nurse and doctors in promoting teaching health measures.
