Electrician Helper

Meitec, Inc - Metairie, LA - 2015-08 - 2017-06

Measure, cut bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.

• Trace our short circuits in wiring, using test meter.

• Strip Insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering.

• Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections using hand tools.

• Construct controllers/panels using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws, and punches.

(Contractor) - Carpenter/Sheet Rock Finisher

Remove Sheet-Rock from damaged Homes, apply new Sheet-Rock & Finish

• Pull and Lay Carpet, Rebuild Home Frames, paint Homes inside and out. Ship-Fitter

Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes. Align and fit parts according to specifications using, jacks,

turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars and hammers.

• Move parts into position into position, manually or with hoists or cranes. Align and fit, and weld parts to form complete units following blueprints and layout specifications, using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.
