Objective
I often describe myself as a QA professional in a developer's body, having the mindset to break things but the toolset to create and restore.
I can ensure the quality of software while leveraging my coding ability to build and utilize complex testing tools. I'm professional in all stages of QA process from test planning to post- release verification. throughout my QA career, I have worked many different environments and follow methodologies from Agile SCRUM to Waterfall.I thrive in an environment where I can test the boundaries of the software but also contribute to the QA process and procedures used to ensure quality. QA is my passion and I would like to help whoever will find my skills suitable for their projects.
Work experience
Pearson Lanka - Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer (May 2016 – July 2017) Working in a engineering team. A project is a digital tool for writers at all levels. It has a web application and a native mobile app for both iOS and Android.
Experience in Test automation of web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver, Java.
TestNG, Junit, Maven and ATDD approach using Cucumber and CI integration using Git/Stash, Bitbucket with Jenkins.
Experience in Mobile Test Automation using Appium WebDriver for both iOS (with XCUITest) and Android. UI testing using Xcode.
Experience in JIRA. Confluence and HipChat.
Experience in test case execution, creating test suites and test cycles using HP ALM Quality Management tool.
Perform BVT, Functional, Integration, Regression and Browser/OS Compatibility Testing, Accessibility Testing.
Perform API testing using Postman.
