In my position at the Library, I interacted with patrons with assumed respect. I had responsibilities such as shelving materials, checking materials in and out for patrons and all forms of customer service. Helping patrons and children with basic schooling and computer/printing problems is also a duty that was called for. Creating library book carts that can be shelved afterwards is another duty. I participated in summer reading programs for youth and suggested reading materials based on customer interest. Using and navigating library databases as well as online databases was also needed for my position. Lastly, Excel was used quite often as well.
