SECURITY AGENT/SPECIAL DEPUTY U.S. MARSHALL (CONTRACTOR) Overview: Charged with providing executive protection for Federal judges while on Federal property within the Federal courthouse in the Southern District of Florida. Key Contributions and Notable Activities

§ Investigated all crimes and security issues occurring on premises and working with other security employees tasked with manning security checkpoints inside and outside building.

§ Security of criminals appearing in court as well other personnel assigned to courthouse.

§ Oversaw surveillance monitoring room and operation of hundreds of CCTV cameras and ensured optimal operation of building’s interior alarm system consisting of both silent panic alarms and other exterior alarms.

HOME DEPOT – Atlanta, GA 8. 2004 to 5.2008

MANAGER, CORPORATE SECURITY/LOSS PREVENTION WITHIN HOME DEPOT CORPORATE SECURITY DIVISION

Overview: Functionally responsible for numerous security measures with focus on conducting internal and external investigations to minimize company loss. Hold full authority over 120 stores in Florida, nine in Puerto Rico and one in St. Thomas. Addressed issues including theft, loss prevention, stop and detaining suspects involved in thefts from stores, Home Depot procedures and policies on detentions of suspected shoplifters, organized training classes on the liability issues on improper and illegal detaining of suspected shoplifters, credit card fraud, counterfeiting, check fraud, safety issues, Hazmat and OSHA violations, shrink issues, audits, inventories and key control as well as hiring of all security guard services. § Served as primary corporate liaison to outside local, state and federal agencies involving criminal cases and related prosecution.

§ Managed security of annual shareholder’s meeting comprised of approximately 10,000 attendees and key management personnel including CEO and all Senior Vice Presidents. Activities included security pre-planning, medical and emergency issue planning, executive protection and coordination of local law enforcement.

§ Recovered over $10M dollars related to loss by creating and launching the Organized Retail Crime

(ORC) program. Created network consisting of bi-weekly calls to Loss Prevention managers to improve communication flow to Loss Prevention Field investigators, resulting in thousands of arrests at store level, which were successful, prosecuted.

Based on success of program, was requested by other retail business to construct and organize individual ORC programs.

§ Resolved issue related to repeated bomb threats and over $5M in losses due to evacuations and closing of stores following call. Overview: Directed all investigative cases dealing with major crimes and suspect apprehension, averaging approximately 40 cases per month – held highest clearance rate inside division. Key Contributions & Activities

§ Served as key liaison on investigations involving FBI, DEA, ATF, Secret Service, FDLE and other law enforcement agencies.

§ Played pivotal role in resolution of high-profile case (covert operation involving Armed Robbery Plot). Acted on information provided by informant, coordinated SWAT team and business owner to devise operational plan resulting in death of subjects and saving of numerous victim’s lives.
