This is Kalidoss Rajendran, I am a Microbiologist, did my post graduation in VHNSN college, affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, during the Academic year 1996. I started my career in MGR College in the Department of Microbiology, as a lecturer. I had a good proven teaching record when i was working in colletes affiliated to Madras University. I took both post graduation and under graduation classes for microbiology and biotech students. I was promoted as a project supervisor for postgraduate students in Jaya college of arts and science. I pursued my Master of Philosophy in microbiology in 2004 in at Annamalai University, Chidambaram. I worked in Eritrea (N.E.Africa), as a biology teacher in a senior secondary school, Agordat, for 2.5 years between the Academic Year 2006 – 2008. During vacation, for a period of one month I worked as a trainee microbiologist in NABL accredited lab, Bangalore test house at Malleswaram.

I served in Wollega University (2010 – 2012), as a lecturer, Food Microbiologist, in Institute of Food Science and Bio process Technology (IFSBT), Nekemt, Ethiopia, (E.Africa). I extended my service to focus on three pillows of education such as Research, Teaching, Exhibition stall making and Community Services. My project presentation in a work shop entitled “Promoting mushroom cultivation in western regions of Ethiopia” was appreciated by all participants in Ethiopian Wollega University. I pursued my Doctorate (Ph.D, off campus, 2009 - 2011) degree in Dravidian University, Kuppam, India. I submitted Ph. D project thesis (Biotechnology) and awaiting the approval date from the university for defends. I have published my project thesis entitled “Nisin production from L.lactis” in Ethiopian Journal of Biological sciences, ISSN: 1819-8678. I have got industrial experiences too. I worked in fertilizer company and water companies near Sivakasi as a Microbiologist QC, between 2008-2009. Right now, I am in Thailand, working in an international education centre, Thailand.

• Comparative Study of Aflatoxin production on rice and groundnut by Aspergillus flavus.

• Conducted community project work on “Promoting Mushroom cultivation for the development of Western Ethiopia”. It was presented in Workshop conducted by Wollega University, Ethiopia. The same work has been extended on small scale in Ooty (India).
