Phreesia Senior IT Administrator NYC, NY 04/07-05/17 Phreesia is a Technology Development company in the line of health care and the leader in patient Check-in which I have been working with its developers, datacenter engineering, and vendors to secure the organization’s maximum uptime and reliability. www.phreesia.com. As the senior IT Admin and IT director Assistant, I contributed my skills to this startup organization becoming a multi dollar company. Administration Highlights:

Voice over IP Asterisk technology (PBX, Cisco, Polycom): Implemented three major technologies: Fonality, Jive Communication, Fuze/ThinkingPhones. Provisioned over 300 IP phones and administered their communication process and policies per department.

Hyper-V Production virtual environment (Server 2008, 2012 clustering): Installed 2 high end Dell PowerEdge servers as two identical hosts. Setup Hyper-V on both hosts and deployed clustering management environment. Installed 10 TB Dell Equallogic Storage. Configured Hyper-V cluster via ISCSI configuration between the two hosts for failover and redundancy. Installed and clustered two Domain Controller, File Servers, Print and SMTP servers, Terminal and Test / QA virtual Machines. This setup was implemented for New York, Raleigh, and Ottawa Locations

Domain & AD Policies (Server 2012): Monitored all DC’s in NY, Ottawa, NC and the two Datacenter locations and implemented verity of Group policies per department standards.

SAN / Server administration (Equallogic Array): Kept Storage firmware up to date across the sites and managed volumes and backup.

Production Server Monitoring SQL, Web, IIS (Quest, Spotlight on SQL Enterprise): Assisted the Datacenter team with installing and configuring SQL, Web, and IIS server. Installed and administered Quest Spotlight server to provide logs and diagnostics data from production servers and services for Analytics and Development teams. Also key contact to Rackspace colocation in which several servers where hosted and responsible to identify and address issues properly.

Point to Point Tunnel / VPN connections (Cisco ASA): Upgraded all locations Gateways to Cisco 5505, 5510, and 5520. Created transitive VPN connections between all sites. Responsible for maintaining the configuration and worked directly with Cisco for Advance configuration and designs.

Enterprise Internal Wireless: Setup Cisco LAN Wireless Controller for all offices. All offices were also equipped with AiroNet Access Points. Created 3 VLan’s (IT members, Power Users, and DMZ for guests). This roaming setup allowed users to freely travel between the sites and to connect using their network credentials automatically.

Client Wireless Architecture (DD-WRT): Configured and certified client wireless router on verities of manufactures. Responsible for purchasing and testing new Access Point and wireless routers for every quarter. Created installation packages and trained company’s warehouse workers on how to install and configure 1000’s of devices.

Development Product QA (Custom Pad, WinCE, and Web Portal): Assisted the QA team with testing the devices, operating systems, portals. Provided valuable data and suggestions for the Product Management team to improve the quality of the devices.

Data Protection and Encryption (Winmagic): Purchased and setup Winmagic server (SES) Upgraded all company’s computer hard drives to Solid State drives in order to comply with Winmagic’s standards. Pushed controlled device and removable device encryption policy against all computers both internal and remote.

Global Patching and Security updates (Shavlik): Purchased and installed Shavlik server and managed security updates.

Anti-Virus Programs: Started with implementing Sopho’s enterprise for the entire organization. Initially pushed the service to all computers via Windows group policy. Later on segregated Sophos and limited it to only the datacenter’s environment and purchased and implemented MacAfee Enterprise of the offices. The agent was pushed to all computers through LogMeIn Central.

Remote Administration: Initially worked with SOTI to purchase MobiContol and implemented SOTI servers in house to administer company’s devices with gaining access remotely as well as pushing updates and configuration to each device. Over the years installed several other instances of this server to manage and administer devices per type (Windows or ISO) in different locations. Responsible for purchasing and managing accounts on TechInLine service for the members of product support team and LogMeIn Pro Central for IT and implementation team.

Remote User Access: Implemented split tunnel technology (Cisco Anyconnect) and provided users with VPN client access. In addition, setup Password Reset and Password Reminder mechanism using SysOps Tool to allow users to manage their account freely.

Email and messaging (Gmail corporate and Office365 Administration): Migrated Company’s email from Rackspace managed service to Gmail Corporate between the years of 2008 until 2017. As super admin, I managed all related services. On mid 2016 started researching and pricing for more efficient service and singed up with Office365 and Azure. Beginning 2017 obtained detailed instructions, installed Microsoft Migration Server and migrated company’s email to Office365

SSO Admin (OKTA): Implemented single sign-on service with Okta primarily for remote users to access applications freely. Later on integrated Okta with Active Directory which resulted in better manageability and productivity.

Healthcare security implementation member (PCI, HiTrust, and HIPAA): Worked closely with the security team to measure company’s security status and comply with government’s rules and regulations. Some major projects were: Two factor authentication which I planned and turned on for Office365 users as well VPN client connection using Duo Security technology. Domain Split was the second project which disconnects end users to all Datacenter resources. Two major configuration for this project were breaking the VPN point to point tunnel and changing domain controller’s rolls. Third project was making Datacenter’s resources available to some users indirectly, therefore setup a sticky connection using SOHA’s VDI solution which integrated with Okta to provide a simple and yet secure access. For file transfer and depository, I setup a secure FTP server and purchased Box Enterprise solution with AD integration capability. SFTP solution was used to move data between less secure entities and Box was used for user’s personal data as well as transferring patient data between our system and medical facilities.

Software, services, and equipment purchasing: All requested software and Hardware were under my supervision. Worked with large vendors such as CDW and Softchoice to obtain best price and service.

IT Director Assistant: Managed IT staff based on their tiers. Responsible for training, planning and demonstration. Also provided training for all new hires mostly in New York office. Worked closely with the VP of IT to document inventory and calculate department’s budgets each quarter. Patch deployment and client updates: Certain small clients requested assistance with keeping their internal network up to day. Each client network was treated individually based on their network setup.
