Currently manage Electrical shop and Electronics shop, including but not limited to

Purchasing and maintaining stock of parts for in house day to day work tickets and repairs.

Preventative maintenance, coordinate contractors and projects as related to electrical.

Maintain quality and to bring hospital up to current code standards.

Monitor and maintain all electrical systems within the hospital, both normal and

Emergency systems, including motor control centers, main switch gear, O.R. isolation

Panels, indoor and outdoor lighting as well as signage. Also testing of medical gas alarm systems, along with nurse call/code blue systems and fire alarm system.

Implemented and coordinated the following:

Thirty year old transfer switch replacements, energy saving lighting retrofits, up dating of nurse call/code blue system. Assist and consult HVAC and Plumbing shops on occasion.

Also served as a member of Shared Leadership and Safety Coach Committees.

Assisted contractors and hospital staff to minimize effects from power outages required to upgrade electric power (this work went on for about 2 years), and there were many times I stayed all night to insure there would be no problems.

Managed as many as 40 tradesmen at on time. Supervised all aspects of condominium conversion projects of more than 1150 units including HVAC replacements and service, electrical fixtures and wiring upgrades, insuring quality control, as well as good customer service practices.

Implemented training seminars for new techniques associated with the type of work we were currently involved with, to increase productivity and profitability, as well as updated OSHA rules and other safety regulations.

EDUCATION: Continuing education NEC code up dated classes, (every 2 years) and Grainger’s on line safety.
