Projects and Presentations

June 2015 Affordable Diabetic Supplies, A Community Outreach Project Researched local pharmacies in the downtown New Brunswick area with the most affordable Diabetic Supplies. Prepared and distributed a pricing guide to undocumented/uninsured patients, with significant economic and transportation barriers, who were in need.

October 2015 Cystic Fibrosis; The Disease and Current Treatments Presented to the pharmacy staff of Children’s Specialized Hospital an interactive slide show addressing the epidemiology, pathophysiology, treatment and recently approved agents.

January 2016 Vaccinations For Those Over 60, A Community Outreach Project Prepared and distributed an educational brochure, informing customers about the vaccinations recommended for those over 60 years old. Focusing on the pneumococcal and zoster vaccines and their importance. Also, provided one-on-one counseling to interested customers.
