Project/Event Management

• Developed, planned, promoted and executed a variety of large events including educational conferences, golf tournaments, fundraising events and campaigns, art shows, concerts, and others.

• Develop critical paths and budgets and execute projects accordingly.

• Lead communication with exhibitors, sponsors, and other potential supporting businesses and nonprofit groups.

• Manage event logistics, coordinate exhibit space sales, engage in negotiation and dispute resolution with organizations, coordinate and schedule presentations and other programming.

• Develop strategies for achieving media relations, marketing and communications objective.

• Lead in the acquisition of festival venues, ensuring professional permits, contracts and agreements are all sound.

• Coordinate performers including arranging contracts and payment agreements, waivers and liabilities, performance schedules, responding to performer inquiries and requests as the main performer contact for the festival, related logistics of equipment and setup/take-down for each performer, acting as a liaison between throughout the festival.

• Ensure festival activities adhere to City of Toronto bylaws and insurance requirements, obtain all necessary permits in a timely manner.

• Key Responsibilities included: venue selection, staff scheduling, budgets control, online marketing & promotions, content development (digital & print), creating merchandise inventory database, developing merchandise price points to maximize profits. o Majid Jordan : North American & Euro/UK Music Tour ( 2015 & 2016)
