Operations Manager, June 2014 – Present

Managed the day-to-day operations of a staff of 175-200 hourly employees and 4 salary employees in a metal stamping and welding department. The stamping department produced nearly 30 million parts spanning 500 SKUs per year, and the welding department produced nearly 150,000 mower decks and commercial frames per year. Worked in cross-functional work teams to address quality and customer needs, in addition to cost cutting projects. In 2014 labor costs were reduced by nearly 10% in the stamping department and 25% in the welding department due to process improvements. Safety incidents were reduced by 68% in the stamping department and 50% in the welding department in 2014. Maintained a 99.4% first pass yield in 2014 in all departments.
