I am interested in the Bachelor’s Level Therapy Position, and it is my belief that I have several qualities and qualfications that would be beneficial to the position. My work experience has provided me with a vast array of training and familiarity with those that have mental heath and behavioral issues.

One of the most relevant positions that I have had was at Hoffman Homes. It was a challenging position that gave me up-close practical knowledge of what it is like to work with those that have a variety of mental health and behavioral diagnosis, while there I worked with several sex offenders, and also victims of sexual abuse. I spent time creating group therapy for them, and it was wonderful to see them respond to the activities. It was also great to see them grow and learn as time went by.

Another position that was beneficial was at NHS, where I worked as a case manager for foster care children. This gave me the opportunity to see children in different settings, and would give me a chance to talk with people from many different organizations. It gave everyone an opportunity to vent and discuss the issues they were having, and there were times when I would act as a buffer to help come up with a solution that was amicable to all, as well as provide general case management services.
