-Responsible for all Operations metrics as part of four-man Operations Manager team along with a specific focus on Industrial Relations with Local Union 710 and dedicated focus on Workers Compensation as terminal liaison to corporate claims adjuster.

-Navigated the terminal through Concessionary Contract Negotiations by holding open forum meetings as well as representing the company in all grievance disputes put forth by Local 710.

-As local Workers Compensation liaison total amount paid out at the South Chicago DC was reduced $918,000 from 2012 to 2013 and $1,300,000 from 2013 to 2014. This downward trend has continued since my eventual departure through promotion.

-Worked side by side with a corporate engineering team on site to reconfigure dock layout reducing walking distance by over 30%, develop and install new labor management program now being used system wide, create and implement new online bidding process reducing bid change turnaround time by 60%.

-Responsible for all Local Union 705 drivers Federal DOT Hours of Service compliance. Monitored daily through paper log checks versus electronic logging to ensure compliance and factual logging by drivers.
