Maintenance Worker

Walmart-April 2016 to July 2016

The Walmart maintenance associate is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the company’s properties to make them attractive and always functional for customers use. Below are things I did as a part of my job

•Sweep the floor with a big broom to get under the shelves and put up merchandise found while I sweep

•Used a scrubbing machine to deep clean the floors

•Cleaned the outside windows with cleaning chemicals

•Mobbed wet areas in the store dry and if not lay a wet floor sign in the area if I'm busy with another area

My job at Dickeys consisted of me cooking everything and prepping it before I cooked it. I would season the food and then cook it things like ribs and sausage will take awhile so I would use a timer and sometimes just calculations to figure out when I should remove them. I ran the cash register as well and mopped and scrub the floors too. I worked the late shift so before I left I washed and took down to cooking equipments to wash and prepare for the morning shift

I will close the lobby before I clock out since I worked the last shift that consisted of mobbing and scrubbing the floor once in awhile I'll use degreaser on areas of the parking lot and scrub them and use a water hose to wash away the stain
