Senior Reservoir Engineer, Oilsand Operations (OSO) 2014-2017

Managed reservoir engineering and production optimization of producing asset with 36 well-pairs and 9 infill wells.

Oversaw team of 10 engineers and geo-geoscientists in context of production optimization core teams, uplifting 20%+ in oil production, and smooth multidisciplinary approach.

Performed reservoir simulation and history matching of 5 producing pads with 23K+ bbl/d production, developing precise business plan and project budget.

Acted as lead engineer and data analytic champion, using fit for purpose data analysis, strengthening reservoir management, and high return on investment approach to reservoir monitoring.

Led team of 10 specialists in production optimization project, producing automizer for SAGD production optimization, and presenting project under cost and on schedule.

Reservoir Engineer, Heavy Oil Technology Center (HOTC) 2011-2014

Handled technology for marginal reservoir development, added 400+ Mbbl of reserves.

Directed Phase Watchers technology deployment project for Suncor, major SAGD operator.

Established $3.5M savings through production optimization and better water cut measurements.

Commissioned 10 out of 78 Phase Watchers each costing $300K for Suncor, resulting in more precise water cut analysis and well-pair production optimization.

Field Engineer, Testing Services, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia 2010

Achieved and managed testing services operation for 5 oil and gas wells in arctic condition projects, including Sakhalin- II.

Worked closely with Schlumberger’s drilling and measurement (D&M) segment on full package jobs in major projects, including ExxonMobile North Dome, Total Indonesian Delta.
