Mothers' Milk Bank at Austin – Lab Manager/Pasteurization technician – August 2005 – October 2015
Managed two processing labs, 6 employees and several volunteers. Homogenized and pasteurized 6000 ounces a day of donor human milk that is provided to the Hospital NICU departments for premature infants.
Fast paced with long periods of standing, walk-ing and lifting 50 lb lids for pasteurizing. Inventory control and ordering, scheduling, training, interviewing and several other tasks through out week as assigned.
• Prior to my employment with the Mothers' Milk Bank, I was a stay at home Mother raising my second and third young children. I have worked for Hart Graphics, Jack in the Box (shift management), Farmers Insurance, Medcorp (Boon-Chapman), and seasonal IRS. With these jobs came strong customer service, phone skills and strong computer knowledge.
