PROFESSIONAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE
1.Head of Drilling & Completions Department;
Currently responsible of managing a Deepwater drilling project of 70 million USD. Also heading a drilling team of 10 professionals. Our goal is to expand and grow the production of oil resources for the Aje Project (a Deepwater oil field).
2.Technical Lead, Drilling Engineering, Nigeria Operations;
Currently leading a team of 10 engineers responsible for operation planning and design of drilling operations in Nigeria for Schlumberger. Also incharge of Coordinating and Approval Drilling Projects in Nigeria. Acting as the Country Approval for all Technical Well designs. Currently overseeing technical well designs for Deepwater projects like Akpo Project, Ebok Project with project cost of over 400 million USD, Zabazaba project with project cost of over 1 billion USD, etc.
2. Drilling Engineer (Schlumberger), Schlumberger IPM-Glencore Deepwater Project, Cameroon;
Responsible for Technical Planning and execution of the Matanda Drilling Project. This project involved the construction of 6 Oil wells with a total estimated construction cost of 110 Million US$.
3.Project Drilling Engineer (Schlumberger IPM), IPM-Esso Development Project, Chad
Worked as the project drilling engineer for the Bolobo Heavy Oil Development Project in Chad. I was responsible for planning a total of 100 land infill wells for optimizing Oil production from this field. Total Project cost was in excess of 80 million US$.
4.Project Drilling Engineer; Funiwa Gas Project, Nigeria;
Worked as the project drilling engineer for the Funiwa Gas Development Project in Nigeria. The project was expected to supply gas feedstock for the development of the Nigeria Gas Initiative for Power Production. I was responsible for planning a total of 20 cluster gas wells for optimizing Oil production from this field. Total Project cost was in excess of 180 million US$.
5.Project Drilling Engineer; Gbaran-Ubie Gas Project, Nigeria;
Worked as the project drilling engineer for the Gbaran-Ubie Gas Development Project in Nigeria. The project was expected to supply gas feedstock for the development of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Plant for Gas exports. I was responsible for planning a total of 20 cluster gas wells for optimizing Oil production from this field. Total Project cost was in excess of 420 million US$.
6.Performance Contracts Optimization Engineer;
My function in this job was to optimize the projects in order to save cost and generate value for the Client. I reviewed our daily operations and I was able to quantify and set measures in order to ascertain our operating efficiency. By analyzing our projects performance efficiency, I was able to work with a team of different discipline experts to reduce project delivery cost by 15% and improve operational efficiency by 25%, thus saving the organization over 10 million USD across several projects.
