Allocation of expenses, Capital Forecasting, and Accruals. Used Hyperion Essbase to setup needed

queries to pull data from corporate database. This was to support department heads showing results

for budget vs. actuals and five quarter trending.

Cleared invoice holds from Oracle 11i accounting system. Identified current issues, and acted to

clear them. Became team leader and cleared $13M worth of invoices on hold in three months.

Developed a P&L Model in Excel to help a landscaping company manage the business by project.

Created project numbers for all projects and had project team workers fill out time cards based on %

of time spent on projects. Spread overhead costs based on total monthly project hours. This model

allowed project managers to see actual margin by project numbers and manage the business more

effectively.

Developed customer-bidding software in Excel for a landscaping company.

Created a database to track part costs, and task numbers to track workers activities in the field.

Determined average time and cost for each labor task required. This model increased bidding

productivity by more than 60%.

This software also allowed the sales department to increase or decrease project margins to present
