Customer
TRW US
Description
Globally located Engineers requirement will be assigned to layout Engineer in the form of Service request. More than 50 board are designed for automotives. These are into air bag sensors, steering, power break etc..
Below steps are followed for each service request
Periodic review’s with design engineer for schematics and layout.
Conformance check as per plant requirement
Caf and Dentritic check for voltage potentials
Approval from deferent teams like Mechanical, Global manufacturing, DFM.
Tools
Dx-Designer for schematics and Mentor Pad’s for PCB. GC-PREVUE for Gerber view.
Project
POWC
Customer
Ericsson, Sweden
Description
This Project aims at replacement of ASIC with FPGA on the POWC board which is used in GSM base station/core network controller. The design of the board involves replacement of ASIC with FPGA and associated changes. Also the board should be RoHS compliant. The board is designed to reproduce the existing functionality with new set of components. Schematic and Layout designs are to be implemented. The board is verified for functionality at board level and system level. The board is subjected to different stress tests to ensure reliability. Board is verified in two stages (two prototypes) before launch for production.
Tools
Cadence Allegro16.2 PCB. GC-PREVUE for Gerber view.
Project
IPNAX
Customer
Ericsson, Sweden
Description
The purpose of the IPNAX Project is to deliver the functionality required to connect system test plant APZ 212 3x/40and server (APG40) to the Inter-Platform Network (IPN). This provides a fast connection between the Central Processor (CP) and the Adjunct Processor (AP), and allows the CP to interwork with other processing platforms. The FPGA on PBA provides an interface to the APZ 212 RPHB on one side and the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus on the Other side.
Tools
Cadence Allegro16.2 PCB. GC-PREVUE for Gerber view.
Project
LVDT Board
Customer
Ericsson, Sweden
Description
This is a 8 layer board, with BGA Package, TQFP 100 and discretes used. This board is fixed impedance for all signals, different design rules like trace length should be same for all signals with ARC routing (should not 90degre bends) to get exact impedance for every trace. Uniform air gap between differential pair and 3W space between pairs.
Tools
Cadence Allegro16.2 PCB. Valor tool for DRC GC-PREVUE for Gerber view.
