July 2017-August 2017 Cambridge Law Studio- Girton College – Cambridge.

Summer course teaching international Lawyers TOLES . Legal English and working towards TOLES advanced and Higher examinations as well as marking.

August 2016- (Current Position.) I am tutoring in English GCSE A-level, EAL TEFL, IELTS, TEOFL and in Pronunciation and Accent Reduction privately through The UK Study Centre and for ‘Communicate Well” –Specialist Language services for executive and celebrity clients and their families. I also work part-time as an EAL tutor for The Farraday School an independent primary school. In addition I run my own business www.thegabrielschool.com which offers courses and classes in learning English through Drama.

Sept- 12th 2015 –June 16th The English School-Vibo Valentia- Calabria-Italy. TEFL to students aged five to adults. Preparing all students for IELTS, Cambridge examinations Starters, Flyers, Movers, PET KET FCE, Marking mock examinations and assessments.

October 10th 2014- July 2015 Drama Lecturer at Hammersmith and West London College. Lecturing in Performing Arts (Acting) on the BTEC Level 2 Diploma and BTEC extended Diploma Level 3 courses. As well as Level 2 for students with a range of SEN, SLDD including autism, down syndrome and a variety of more complex specific needs.

June 20th –September 25th 2014 St Giles College in Eastbourne. Teaching EFL to students aged 12 to adults.

June 1st –June 16th 2014 The English Theatre in Europe. Teaching EFL, Writing, directing and producing a play with Italian school children in Empoli, Tuscany. With children aged 6 to 13.

March 30th 2014-June 1st 2014. Working as a supply teacher for Capita, Teaching Talent, and Morgan Hunt agencies in various capacities and Schools and Colleges teaching A-level Drama and English, G.C.S.E English and Drama.

Governess for a high profile Russian family, Tutoring three boys aged 5, 11 and 13 in English and all other subjects. Preparing them for Boarding School in England. I lived in Almaty in Kazakhstan for 3 months and travelled with the family to Dubai for 1 month.

Curriculum Leader in English, Humanities and Performing Arts at Richmond Adult Community College. Teaching English G.C.S.E and Drama Access and certificate courses as well as short courses to adults in Acting, Methods and Styles, Audition Techniques and Performing Shakespeare. I managed a team of 14 tutors in the English, Humanities and Performing Arts departments. I also taught Drama in the community to a variety of SLDD students. Including those on the moderate to severe learning difficulties spectrum.

Part-time Director/Producer for The Play “Celebrity” a new play I co-wrote with the writer Christopher Fowler. The Play was part of The London Fringe Festival 2010 and debuted at The Phoenix Artist Theatre on Charing Cross Road on November 23rd-December 4th 2010.The play was then asked to transfer to The Lowery Theatre in Manchester.

I developed collaborations with The Royal Shakespeare Company which culminated in a public performance of excerpts from Othello at The Hackney Empire. I Co-ordinated, and co- wrote and directed devised productions performed publicly with 1st and 2nd years working alongside Pete Lawson (script writer from Eastenders). I planned and prepared Schemes of work/lessons across a range of acting theory, and practical subjects that included Performing to an Audience, Principles of Acting, Devising Plays, Contemporary Theatre Performance and Drama Improvisation. I have offered additional extracurricular tutoring in elocution, voice coaching and audition techniques. Students with a range of SEN needs.

I have many credits to my name in both television and theatre and a professional acting CV that can be supplied to you if requested. This includes working for several theatre companies such as Clever Pants in Barcelona, The English Theatre of Europe and The Break Theatre and running/ directing and acting in my own Theatre company “The Adrenaline Theatre Company” that toured nationally and combined drama workshops at Primary, and Secondary schools
