• Directional/Horizontal Well Design - Developed well path for type I to type IV wells using surface and target coordinates, KOP, TVD, etc. Fracture gradient was calculated based on lithology and pore pressure data. Wells were planned by designing mud weights, BHA, drill pipe, drilling fluid, and ECD. Pressure losses inside the drill string were calculated using Excel Macros

• Fracture Stimulation Design and Post-Fracture Analysis – Developed a geomechanical profile for the well and determined pre-fracture design parameters such as in-situ stress, closure stress, flowing bottom hole pressure, etc. Evaluated post fracture well performance using Prat’s correlation and also using STIMPLAN’s numeric single phase simulator
