JOB REPONSIBILITIES:

JOB REPONSIBILITIES:

Step-wise Inspection as per QCP; like Material handling and storage, Verification of test certificate of GRE pipe, pre-padding, stringing, installation, field thread preparation, pigging, box up & hydro test.

Material inspections for damages like cracks, holes in pipe body & damages in factory thread, Material storage & handling.

Qualification of supervisor, jointer & helper. Inspect the storage of adhesive material at store & site.

Witness the field installation of pipe & field thread preparation as well as artificial curing of field thread. Inspect the field thread for damages like cracks, air pockets & chips.

Witness the installation of fittings like elbows, flanges, couplings & nipples. Inspect the sand bags placement on pipe in road crossing section during hydro test.

Co-ordination with the Clients for inspection. Inspect the post-padding done on GRE.

Witness the road crossing hydro test as well as final hydro test and also pigging operation before hydro test. Preparation of document for test pack.

Verify that the calibration status of inspection & test equipment being used are valid.

Notifying any non-conformance during site inspection and recommending corrective measures to area engineer through QA/QC Engineer.

Train the site supervisor on CQP & QCP.

JOB REPONSIBILITIES:

Incoming Material Inspection with reference to review PO, Correlation of MTC with physical material (Identification) and Dimensional Inspection.

Preparation of Incoming Material Inspection Report and taking care of Good’s Receipt Note clearance.

Responsible for any update in incoming material inspection & clearance.

Stacking the GRE pipes plain ground surface in 6&9 positions to avoid the contact damages.

Materials shall be stored separately accordingly to their class, materials & diameters.

Monitoring the materials like Epoxy, Paints, Electrodes, Molykote, etc. maintaining in the air conditioning room as per the procedure and maintaining the logs for the same.

Monitoring & maintaining the Cable drums, Transformers, GRE pipes, CS pipes protected with Tarpaulin’s sheet from the UV Radiation & wind dust.

Coordinating with Material coordinators & store keepers to verifying & maintaining the records for all the materials available in Yards.

Responsible for giving feedback to Manufacturer and take up any issue with related to material inward inspection.

Update the NCR status and follow up with vendor regarding any deviation noted contrary to the requirements.

Evaluating corrective & preventive action for the material non-conformity and communicate to client with reference to its intended application.

Allocation of Pipes, Fittings & Forgings to respective Drawing & Spool No.

Authorizing Material Issue Note (MIN) for the allocated material for issue & further use by verifying drawing, Material of construction, test certificate and incoming material inspection report.

Responsible for taking care of any design change in drawing and corresponding issue the material for construction/fabrication.

Providing feedback to Procurement & Project Management team, Senior Managers as to emerging QA/QC issues related to Material inspection.

Material Traceability for all the materials.

Visual Inspection and making reports for any damage cause during the transportation.

Reviewing and verifying the Reconciliation list as well’s wise and the same to be submitted to Client.

Verifying the IMTE register for all the instruments like pressure gauges, recorders, electrical equipment’s & Instrument equipment’s.

Keeping & maintaining all the records up to date for Internal / External audits.

Identification of materials as per codes, verifying the Test certificates as per applicable codes, standards & specifications.

Inspection carried out for welding consumables, review the test certificates as per code and standard, conducting the tests as per requirements.

To carry out inspection in the shop floor and field as per Quality Control Plan, Approved Drawings, WPS and giving clearance for welding.

Inspection carried out for welding activities before, during and after welding.

Welders Performance Qualification in accordance with code requirements under PDO and document the same.

Providing training to welders as need to meet production needs.

Maintaining the Welders continuity records and welding parameters monitoring records per welder per WPS wise.

Review of WPS, check the variables with respect to WPS and maintain related documents.

Maintaining the Defect analysis for job and welder wise.

Conducting Radiographic testing and Review the Radiographs for Welded joints as per ASME B31.3, B31.8 and API 1104.

Evaluation of Radiographs and offer to the Client and Third Party Inspector.

Witnessing the various Non-destructive tests like UT, MPT, PT, and PMI. Conducting Hardness testing for welds and base metals.

Witnessing the Hydro test for On Plot Piping & off Plot Pipelines.

Preparing the documents as per Quality Control Plan and attach all documents in Test Pack, to submit Client for verification purpose.

To submit test pack according to Client requirements, taking the Clearance from them for various jobs.

Witnessing the Heat Treatment as per WPS and reviewing the Charts and submit the PWHT chart to Clients for review and acceptance.

Arranging the Calibration of Welding equipment’s, Gauges, Recorders, and baking ovens.

Witnessing of Strength test, Leak test, Dew point and Nitrogen Leak test & Purging for On Plot Piping and off Plot Pipelines before commissioning.

Submitting the Final Test pack and commissioning the Wells.
