PROJECT: Housing for Salukis

Description: The objective of this project is to provide an application which helps students find an accommodation prior, as well as upon their arrival at SIU. For this project we considered using social capital as it deals with the agent’s behavior and other intangible features for this new application. Project 1: Automated Rotary Kiln to produce Activated Carbons

Automated Rotary kiln is designed to produce activated carbon product. Activated carbons are best known for its purification purpose. These carbons tend to react on almost all organic and inorganic compounds existing in the mediums of atmosphere (air, water, and gases). The manufacturing process is traditionally followed all these years which has liberal drawbacks that let me research and reconstruct the project with better benefits.

My project successfully given me growth in sale by 29%, quality assurance of 61%, minimum wastage in production to 4%, reduce human errors almost to 1%, increased production rate by 22%, above all is satisfactory client response.

Project 2: Global positioning system for physically impaired people using user input interfacing

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a U.S. space-based radio navigation system that provides reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services to civilian users on a continuous worldwide basis.

My role in this project is to analyze and specify the technical requirements, accessing the stored data of locations, accessing the functionality of the system. This project consists of software team, electronics team, hardware team, testing team and a business analyst.
