Designing custom kitchens to meet customer needs

Looked after every aspect of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

I would oversee the initial site inspection were a complete outline of all measurements would be taken. Then working with those measurements and the customers’ wants and budget I would proceed to design their dream kitchen. Once the cabinets were ordered I would start the installation schedule for the renovation, I would also advise the customer on flooring, backsplash and paint. Making sure that everything would be delivered and installed in a timely manner. Customer satisfaction and our profit margins was my priority.

Started as a sales rep looking after a small territory in southern Ontario. It soon grew and included the Home Depot account.

As HD grew I trained their staff in selling and designing kitchens as well as hiring and training my own staff to look after the HD account.

Became a Territory Manager looking after 4 provinces here in Canada as well as the Home Depot EXPO stores in the US with 4 sales reps reporting to me directly. I managed 1 in British Columbia, 1 in Alberta, and 1 that looked after Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

I was able to increase sales by 17% my first year and 11% my second year.

In 3 years I took it from 12.7 million to a 20 million dollar district.

I focused on customer service, training of salespeople and positive reinforcement.
