Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of Supervisor, foremen, technicians, diesel engine mechanic, welders, riggers, scaffolders, millwrights, pipe fitters and plumbers to ensure that operation and maintenance works are performed according to manufacturer recommendations and safety requirements.

Review and approve O&M manuals, as-built drawings, specifications and technical documents.

Planning the preventive maintenance schedule and preparation of equipment check lists.

Designing operation & maintenance strategies, procedures and method statements.

Perform Routine/Preventive Maintenance of equipment as per Master PM Schedule to diagnose and respond to problems in timely manner, thus preventing breakdowns.

Perform Corrective Maintenance and troubleshooting if any malfunction in the equipment occurs.

Planning, Procurement and Inspection of tools, equipment and critical/routine spare parts within budget.

Perform the following main analysis for Preventive Maintenance of mechanical equipment:

Perform “Condition Based Maintenance” on regular basis other than specified time intervals to resolve problems, thus ensuring “Proactive Maintenance” of the equipment.

Keep the record of the failures to investigate and plan the “Failure History Based Maintenance”.

Perform routine HS&E audits to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with project requirements.

Participate in STARRT talks to inform workers of risk associated with their assigned tasks.

Ensure Log-Out/Tag-Out System is in place and Log-Out/Tag-Out procedures are observed during maintenance works.

Ensure that permit is obtained for live systems requiring isolation for maintenance services and that isolated systems shall be re-activated after completion of works with proper close-out of permit.

To prepare technical specification and handle technical queries.

Responsible for Engineering Management of multi-discipline as well as single discipline jobs.

Participate in Client meetings, Vendor meetings and Inter-Discipline meetings to solve problems during project execution. I am responsible for all the equipment working on different sites on power plant and waste water treatment plants (WWTP & STP).

To maintain the maintenance and operation for smooth work.

To ensure smooth running of plant equipment & machines by ensuring that all equipment properly and timely serviced and maintained.

Operate and Maintain the Plant during the shift according to company policies and procedures.

Maintain the plant power production at the output designated by the management. To operate the plant within the acceptable loading envelope.

Assist in Start-up, shut-down and normal operations of the power plant systems.

Complete and maintain all logs and running records in a clear and concise manner according to guidelines.

Take corrective action during system operational disturbance and/or bring such disturbances to the attention of Superior.

Maintain the plant in clean & safe conditions at all times.

Perform emergency procedures in order to protect personnel and equipment in case of any damage or failure.
