Work History:

Routing and Dispatch Manager, Translogistix March 2014-Present

•Create routing for outbound freight deliveries and scheduling with customers for multiple accounts on a daily basis for upwards of 12 routes

• Ensuring deliveries are met within a specific time window

• Oversee driver files ensuring they are within DOT compliance

• Dispatching on-demand courier jobs

• Answering high-volume calls and dispatching jobs accordingly

•Responsible for the accurate preparation of the previous days’ delivery manifest including data entry of delivery coding of all deliveries for each driver and preparation/reconciliation of the weekly delivery report researching/resolving discrepancies.

•Daily inspection of over 20 delivery vehicles to ensure trucks are in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.

Operations Supervisor, Cardinal Logistics Management Aug. 2012-March.2014

• Oversee approximately 20 Forward Air Solutions warehouse employees for Office Depot stores ensuring products are handled and stacked carefully, bins are processed in the correct order, corporate machinery and supplies are utilized safely and with care.

• Act as lead liaison between Forward Air Solutions, Office Depot, and Cardinal Logistics Management ensuring all products ordered are handled, packaged, and delivered in accordance with strict corporate guidelines minimizing corporate loss.

• Prepare the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), Over Short & Damaged (OS&D), and Transfer reports for upper management on a daily basis. Information provided includes; number of in-bound / out-bound trucks, pallet counts, store counts, missing/overage/damaged/incorrectly labeled products.

•Create routing for all outbound trucks delivering freight to Office Depot stores in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area using Microsoft Excel and routing software ensuring the most efficient routes are generated by the software.

•Responsible for the accurate preparation of all required driver paperwork for delivery including freight seals, bill of lading (BOL), and driver manifests.

•Checking, filing, sorting, auditing and storing all Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and driver logs.

•Created new organization of safety files ensuring the annual DOT Safety Audit was successfully passed.

•Generated and sorted loading manifests for drivers at both the D.C. and White Marsh stops as well as maintained a constant line of communication with the dispatchers providing prompt service for passengers.

•Acted as liaison between other Megabus locations in various states to ensure passengers arrived safely to their final destination.

•Determined the action required when notified of a bus breakdown taking immediate action to ensure passenger safety and delivery to final destination.

•Ensured staff was compliant with OSHA, DOT and FMCSA rules, regulations as well as company and union policies.
