EXPERIENCE
TRUMPF Cranbury, NJ
Mechanical Design Engineer Co-op September 2016 April 2017
Innovated designs and produced successful parts for various projects, such as various camera mounts, force sensor fixture, distance sensor
mount, adapter plates, vacuum pick-up-tool and many more. Ensured every design is efficient, easy to manufacture or assemble, and
professional.
Practice different technical analysis or applications before designing a part.
o Utilized a force sensor to measure practical force to hold laser chips in place, and then produced a spring clamp which held the
chips in place within the target force and spring displacement.
o Operated a microscope and a camera to find the angle of a steel vacuum pick-up-tool, and created a PEEK vacuum pick-up-tool
replica to reduce damage to fragile materials during the pick-up process.
Continuously kept track and managed over 10 or more tasks over the course of the Co-op. Purchased over 100 parts from vendors,
regularly handled purchasing to ensure prompt delivery and valuable relationships with vendors.
Frequently offered help in maintenance and experimental testing, such as waterline connection, assembly realignment, and pressure test on
laser chips.
RUTGERS UNIVERSITY Piscataway, NJ
Engineering Research Assistant January 2016- May 2016
Lead the successful delivery of research into dragonfly aerodynamics, working in close collaboration with a group of peers to compile and
analyze large data groups in Excel and execute extensive research into the given topic.
Utilized strong logical and analytical skills to examine energy efficiency and flapping mechanics of the dragonfly so as to model the
electrical replica of the insect with similar wing material.
CHT4 corporation Cambridge, MA
Virtual Engineering Intern September 2015 December 2015
Conducted weekly research studies into various assigned topics, including a new mechanical shovel, and the potential of wings designed
for human flight, delivering solutions for product design issues online.
Produced professional 3D models of finished products, such as shovel, pair of wings, and air-conditioner, competently utilizing industry
software.
BroadTrade group Flushing, NY
Drafter and Assistant Manager May 2014 August 2014
Created a multitude of professional CAD drafts for 3 projects, which included pipeline and electric line drawings for the Stanford Hotel,
NYC.
Managed and assessed worker performance onsite, re-engineering and streamlining the manufacturing processes through more efficient
assignment of worker duties.
Responsible for the uninterrupted flow of operations, driving miscellaneous office duties and appointment arrangements.
PROJECTS
Senior design project September 2015 May 2016
\
Orchestrated the mechanical design of an autonomous robot car to survey and graph the sound intensity of the rooms area.
Demonstrated astute technical ability during microphone placement leading to noise interference reduction and averted the robots
capsizing utilizing heavier mass on the bottom.
Collaborated with team to successfully attain all project performance milestones on time, on budget and on value.
Prepared a comprehensive professional 20-page technical report for the engineering fair; organized group discussions.
