Project Description:

The project scope was related to the Money Transfer System which is used in SunTrust Bank. Money

Transfer System is a video client, windows-based application, used by SunTrust to transfer money from

their bank to other accounts within country or outside United States. As per laws bank is supposed to

provide the receipt to every customer who initiates cross border wires.

Project involved creation of different Tableau visualizations in order to analyze the amount transferred on

the basis of different type of data based on different demographics.

MTS is a 24*7 real time user gratification system which includes processing of large volumes of

transactions.

Application uses Oracle and Tableau as its core components. The goal of this project was to analyze the

number of receipts generated in a single day and transaction status.

Responsibilities:

o Worked on the requirement gathering of the reports.

o Integrated different reports in to dashboards and set access permissions accordingly based on

user/Business needs.

o Analyzed the database tables and created database views based on the columns needed.

o Created parameters for dynamic calculations and used quick filters to create monthly analysis of

sum of amounts transferred and daily reports included bar, line, graph.

o Created maps, area maps in order to analyze the total number of transactions made based on

demographics.

o Created Bar charts/Trend Graphs/Pie Charts to analyze types of sender (individual or

Project Description:

On January 10, 2013, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) issued its much anticipated

Ability-to-Repay (ATR)/Qualified Mortgage (QM) Standards. On the same day, the CFPB issued for public

comment proposed amendments to the ATR/QM standards focused on points and fees calculations and

certain refinance programs. The final rules are part of a wave of new CFPB rules that implement Dodd-

Frank mortgage reform provisions, which will generally become effective in January 2014.

This project is intended to bring SunTrust Consumer Lending in compliance with the rule changes.

Responsibilities:

o Developing the Manual Test Cases using Parameterization

o Coordination with Team and Monitoring the Manual Team

o Initially started with Progressive automation and prepared scripts using dummy objects.

o Development of Automation test scripts using QTP with the scripts prepared during progressive

automation replacing the objects.

o Running the QTP script

o Prepare queries to fetch data into Ms-Excel for validation
