FEM Analysis due to Impacts on Head and Brain January 2016-April 2017

• Extracted the skull model from the Abaqus file

• Obtained the geometry of the Hybrid III headform and meshed it for simulations

• Imported the model and applied the material and contact settings in RADIOSS

• Applied initial velocity conditions to replicate in real world scenarios

• Performed drop test simulations of the Skull model and the NOCSAE model on frontal, lateral, posterior and superior regions of the head.

• Calculated linear and angular accelerations generated to identify concussion and traumatic brain injury parameters

• Published the results in a Report

Static analysis of Pentamode Metamaterial October 2016- December 2016

• Reviewed technical papers on metamaterials to understand the various geometries of Pentamode Metamaterials

• Modelled the unit cell and then the entire structure in Creo 2.0.

• Applied initial conditions and simulated tensile and shear test on the model using Hypermesh, RADIOSS and Abaqus.

Design of Water Pump Test Rig September 2014- May 2015

• Studied the various components involved in testing a water pump

• Reviewed the various formulae required to calculate various dimensions and other parameters

• Selected the correct pipe size and other components from commercially available catalogs

• Designed a mechanism to engage and disengage the pumps to the test bench

• Proposed multiple designs to fit the space and size constraints

Design of Autonomous Robot August 2012- March 2014
