Designed and created custom orthognathic splints to hold people’s faces in place during severe Maxillofacial Reconstruction Surgery to ensure accurate and precise surgical cuts. Each design was created on an individual basis to patient’s unique anatomy according to FDA, EMA and ISO approved quality standards and built using SLA printers. Worked as part of a project with the Colorado School of Mines to redesign contraction monitors to be more comfortable, durable and accurate for women having contractions during labor. Work included CAD design, technical document writing, electrical to mechanical interface design, and consumer interaction and support. A Patent is currently being pursued for the design.
