I have learned and accomplished a great deal in my ten years working with children, families and

individuals with mental illness. My responsibilities includes, ensuring a safe home environment and that

all their basic needs. In addition advocating for the individual and ensure stabilization in the home and

community resources are in place.

I have ten years work experience working with consumers, who were severely and persistently mentally

ill. My role was to educate the clients about their illness, the importance of compliance of taking their

psychotropic medications. In addition, teach the consumers about every day living skills, engage the consumers to participate in social and recreational activities.
