Four years I worked as a ER specialist in 48 model hospital in Sanaa Yemen. I did 2-3 duties per week. Duty was 18-24 hours. This hospital do care mostly for military persons and they relatives. Also all urgent aid people who need emergency care after accidents near hospital area. In hospital was about 100 bed, departments: ER, X-Ray, ICU, medical surgical female out-patient and OT. Mostly hospital work as emergency hospital. We received patients after gun shots, steb wound, RTA, bomb explosion also acute patients with MI, angina pectoris, pulmonary edema, convulsion, patients with chronic disease and complications

On duty ER team were : doctor ER specialist, doctor G.P., 3-4 nurses, 1-care assistant. At list since duty we admitted about 50-60 patients (at afternoon time outpatient clinics was closed and about 50% patients need only check general condition and drugs

Sometimes we admitted ER about 80-150 people but it was rare. After patient registration by statistic system in computer we recieved them in ER I began asked patient about onset of disease complains history of life allergical

status, after that check vital sines and condition by system. Put cannula, took investigation, did urgent aid if it was necessary, felt reception note. Transfer patient to another department to do X-Ray, ultrasound, CT-skan if it was necessary and got consultation with another specialist. Patient in critical state admitted in ER immediately after check vital sines, pass urgent aid, took investigation and to continue treatment ICU. Patient in ER department should be stay no more than 2 hours

Also ER has CPR area and intensive care begins there.
