GENERAL INFORMATION

I am technician with extensive detailed professional experience and in electronics and electromechanical calibration processes. I technical interfaced with vendors, craft, engineers and customers in the Telecommunications, Aerospace, Nuclear Power, Petrochemical and HVAC and Refrigeration Industries. I have been able to apply my working knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical theory, physics to different calibration applications in a wide variety of industries and always looking for acceptable opportunities to initiate cost savings and improvements for the companies that I serve. I researched and developed and trained on newest equipment, procedures that saved AT&T $300,000 per year and over $350,000 per year at Comanche Peak Nuclear Steam Electric Power Plant. I made suggestions to engineers in the Aerospace industry that resolve certain statistical issues to meet regulatory requirements and corrected a refrigeration issue with the batch process at Sohio chemical plant that keep that part of the process running for weeks instead of days.

PROFESIONAL OBJECTIVES

I enjoy people and want to become part of a professional maintenance team, with a well-established company, where we can establish a relationship of mutual benefit, and use my vast array of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical experience leading to opportunities for continual personal growth and learning.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Over 30 years proven experience as Tier II support over team of 38 to 68 technicians with the desire for helping every team member succeed in reaching their potential and increase production.

Over 30 years’ experience working with software, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic controls, sensors, mechanical equipment, preventive maintenance, physics and a strong passion for continual learning and improvement.

Over 30 years’ experience working with tech manuals, pictorial diagrams, ladder schematic diagrams, blueprints and tracking and handling different materials and parts to resolve difficult issues to meet deadline schedules, outage restorations, cost savings, and preventive maintenance and in the Nuclear Power and Telecommunications industries.

Designed on-sight calibration, test fixture fabrication, statistical analysis, and data sheets to calibrate the nuclear plant motor operated valves up to 200,000 lbs. in tension and compression, saving plant $74,000 per reactor per refueling outage for a total of $296,00 for all four outages per year.

Lead a team of mechanics in designing, buying and calibrating equipment for a new torquing procedure for the studs on the primary reactor systems that went up to 19,500 lb.-ft. and cut the radioactive dose rate and time by 60%.

Collaborated with nuclear material engineer to design, set-up, test, run the equipment, and procedure to introduce a different metal on the reactor studs, on a protoplasmic level to reduce galling that saved $58,000per reactor outage incost and radioactive waste.

Helped develop training for the nuclear plant electricians, mechanics, and I&C technicians on new test equipment used to increase efficiency and reduce plant downtime, repair cost and radioactive dose rates.

I helped Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman resolve some calibration and statistical issues that allowed them to meet their government regulatory issues.
