PROJECTS

Distributed File System for Reliable and Secure File Storage (C)

Designed a client/server based application that allows client to fragment and store files onto multiple servers using MD5 hash value and retrieve file from the same.

Pairing of the fragmented files before storage of data helps in improved efficiency and authentication features resulted in added security.

Performance Analysis of Space Time Trellis Code (Matlab)

Developed an algorithm for the encoding and decoding of 2 and 4 state BPSK.

Compared the performance curves of 2, 4, 8 and 16 state STTC under varying channel conditions.

Comparison based on simulation of Rayleigh and Rician Fading channel was performed. Application development of weather monitoring rover (Thingworx)

IOT based application simulated to observe weather conditions with navigation functionality, product data and control capabilities using Thingworx development process.

Implementation included the use of weather rovers to analyze dust storms and crew rovers to rescue people in case of a threat.

RF based Traffic Management System

Designed an optimal signaling model which used bump sensors to closely monitor the traffic volume and dynamically modify the traffic signal period based on the acquired results.

Integration of RFID technology for quick and seamless passage of emergency vehicles was implemented. Operational Study of Server-Client Interface on Wireshark

Detailed evaluation of packet transfer depending on various types of protocols between the host computer and web server was done on Wireshark.

Packets were filtered depending upon their types and various attributes related to the same were studied.
