My background includes my recently completed 3 – 6 month contracted Healthcare Consultant position with VIP Health Care Services, a For-Profit Licensed Home Care Service Agency (LHCSA) with branches in Queens, Westchester and Nassau County. I directly coordinated the daily operations between branches. I dealt with and resolved service issues including:

Reduction of the 40-hr. overtime

Compliance – government regulatory, policies & procedures, etc.

Management of staff/personnel department including hiring/firing.

My previous position as Administrator was for Caring, a For-Profit Licensed Home Care Service Agency in Queens, New York. I was responsible for the overall fiscal, field and clinical management, reporting to the President. Prior position held was as Program Director was for the United Jewish Council, New York. Responsibilities include management/administration and supervision of all aspects for this multi-million dollar LHCSA (Licensed Home Care Service Agency). I directly oversaw the activities of the Nursing Department, Personnel Department, Secretarial Department, Fiscal Department, Case Coordinators, Human Resources Manager, and over 800 HHAs/PCAs. I oversaw the compliance of 20-25 MCO and MLTC contracts. I Chaired both the C.Q.I. (Quality Improvement Committee Meeting) and Administrative Medicaid Fraud Committee Meetings on a quarterly basis, as I was the Medicaid Fraud Compliance Officer.

Knowledge of all three computer systems used such as Sandsport/Sandata, HHA Exchange and Arrow.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree with specialization in Criminal Justice.
