Project: Marketing Attribution using the cookie data provided from multiple Ad servers

Project Overview: This project is to provide complete analytical level data for the client to reduce their

market spend based on the multiple graphs, dashboards and reports provided for the client through an

User Interface exclusively developed for each client to analyzing on the marketing attribution based on

the cookie data and other offline data.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Load the cookie level data i.e click, activity and impression data to the database through a company

developed platform from the AD servers or other vendors.

Report on the issues found in data and get it resolved from vendors and make the data available for true

metric calculation

Cookie level data along with other lookup data is used and run through a workflow which uses Cloud

and Netezza for processing these data for calculationg the true metric.

We procees the data by giving credit to all touch points thorugh which a click or impression got

converted for the calucation whereas many other marketing attriution companies works on the last click

attribution concept.

Project Overview: This project was taken up to migrate the existing US rack stores merchandising data

from one database to another(oracle to Teradata).In the new database the complete information will be

supported by a new system RMS14(Retail Merchandising System).This is an upgraded version of the

existing system RMS9.All the existing reports and extracts accessed by the users will be updated

accordingly to fetch information from the new database.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design the approach of stored procedures and shell scripts for storing and maintaining merchandising

data.

Making data models using reverse engineering and forward engineering approaches in wherescape 3D

and ERWIN data modeler. The diagrams made in the tools is saved as pdf format and present to client

architects to finalize on the design.

Used Teradata SQL assistant and toad to analyze the data in multiple databases and design based on

Project Overview: Nordstrom Inc. was only having stores in the US. Currently Nordstrom is planning to

open full line stores in the Canada to improve their business. This project is taken up to support all the

merchandising data(sales,receipts,transfer,on order etc) related to the newly planned Canada stores.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project: Code Migration from Oracle to Teradata

Project Overview: This project was taken up to enhance the performance of the procedures and PL/SQL

Packages currently present in oracle to Teradata database. Both Oracle and Teradata are RDBMS

databases. However, Teradata is specially designed for Data warehouse. The data retrieval is much faster

in Teradata which is the major advantage. The main difference is Teradata supports parallelism and it

allows more data 10 to power 12 Gb where it increases stability when compared to Oracle.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparation of detail design, high level design, approach documents for the process.

Performed modifications on existing procedures as per change request and maintained it.

Used principles of Normalization to improve the performance. Involved in ETL code using PL/SQL in

Roles and Responsibilities:

Coordinated with the front end design team to provide them with the necessary stored procedures and

Created and modified several UNIX shell Scripts according to the changing needs of the project and

client requirements.

Wrote Unix Shell Scripts to process the files on daily basis like renaming the file, extracting date from

the file, unzipping the file and remove the junk characters from the file before loading them into the base

Project Overview: Rack App is a customer notification application which was developed for Nordstrom,

USA. This application will notify the customers whenever a new product of their interest gets launched in

the store. These notifications will be coming as a pop up in the customers phone on a daily/weekly basis.

The customer can navigate through the application to get more details on the products and the nearest

store in which the same product is available.

Roles and Responsibilities:
