GENERAL MARKUP EDIT Program Summary: The general markup program validates xml files with the use of an excel file as reference for validation. The excel file can be modified to cater to each projects requirements. It checks the validity of data contained in its tag as per project instructions. The program also records the statistics of the file and the edit report generated for tracking and monitoring of each user.

Involvement: Analyzed and designed the program logic with the help of a point person in each department that will be using the system. Summarized and gathered their entire specific requirement to come up with a general requirement that will be beneficial to all parties involved.

TAGGING UTILITY Program Summary: This program is used to tag raw rtf/doc html files and other text files. Tagging is controlled by a table wherein the start and end tags, the attributes are defined. The program also controls unnecessary deletion or addition of data in file. A statistic of the changes in file is also provided.

Involvement: Analyzed the improvement of the tagging utility program. Enhancements added are the control in the addition or deletion of data. The improvements in the statistics and the definition of the start and end tags.

JOBNAME CONTROLLER Program Summary: Created a main Program that will control production programs that will be granted access to a user that logs in. The program will also automatically update the programs that is installed in local drives with that in the server by checking the database if the server program is more recent. The program will automatically assign to a user a particular jobname to be processed based on date of delivery without allowing the user to select their preferred file to do.
