SAP Technical Manager June 2016 to July 2016

Managed the preparation for go-live of the companies SAP systems. Managed the Cap Gemini reporting and security teams as well as SAP AMS Basis and HEC personnel. Worked directly with the consultants from Cap Gemini and the AMS personnel at SAP and their managers to prepare C&J Services to go-live on SAP ECC, GRC, Fiori, BOBJ, PO and Mobile. The ECC and GRC are running on SAP HANA the rest are on SAP ASE. Systems are a 3 tier implementation for all except GRC and BOBJ systems. Implementation was not performed due to C&J Services filing chapter 11.

As a Product Delivery Lead I was responsible for the customer interaction for support of all the SAP instances on the assigned customer accounts. I worked with other Product Delivery Leads in managing all the SAP systems that IBM supported for CLOUD implementation. I was laid off from February 28, 2015 and hired back to IBM for this position on November 2, 2015.

Led a team of first and second level support resources who performed day-to-day technical support. I was responsible for documentation quality assurance as well as compliance with documented procedures.

Personally supported severity 1 level problems to triage, rapidly addressed issues and followed resolution to closure with customers.

Senior SAP Basis / Team Lead Aug 2009 to Feb 2015

Led teams of 5 to 20 basis personnel in implementations, upgrades, add-ons, High Availability setup,

and Disaster Recovery drills on SAP implementations having from 20 to over 125 instances.

Supported SAP implementations with over 120 instances on Windows, AIX and Linux with upgrades, system copies, system refreshes and transport management on systems based in 3 data centers.

Supported all production systems of SAP implementation on AIX and DB2 with High Availability and Disaster Recovery. They had a requirement of 5 hours to recover with testing twice a year to ensure recoverability.

Supported multiple SAP implementations on Windows, AIX and Linux to include upgrades for 6.0 to 7.1 on ECC, BI, SCM, PI, Portal, Secude and SolManager.

Managed projects and assisted customers to take systems back in house. Managed and performed the movement of all the systems for SAP releases of 6.0 to 7.1 on ECC, BI, SCM, PI, Portal, and SolManager.

Provided technical support in managing the migration to use CTS+ and break out the transport environments to multiple sites and applications with ABAP transport team to maintain CTS+ and transports in a multi site environment.

Supported SAP implementations on Windows and SQL Server with move of data center. Led project and trained customer staff to support systems.

Managed project and assisted customer to take systems back in house and the movement of all the systems with setup for DB2 and AIX.

Managed Early Watch reporting and problem tracking. Provided lead support ensuring we were using SAP Early Watch properly.

Worked with clients to move SAP systems in and out of IBM data centers.

Worked with ABAP transport team in maintaining CTS+ and transports in a multi site environment.
