operations of all Dry Bulk operations in Canada (a product line with operation revenues in excess of $65 million

per year), and the product line of Mining Resources (producing over $10 million in annual revenues).

Created and presented annual operating budgets, quarterly operating reviews, and annual capital

expenditures to senior management for review and consideration.

Developed profitable, long-term, strategic relationships with Blue Chip customers, including Sask

Power, Lafarge, and Lehigh.

Proactively sponsored development of health and safety policies and procedures, and chaired Process

Improvement Teams.

Successfully negotiated a complex, mutually acceptable business agreement with competing customers

(Lafarge and Lehigh) for the supply of assets in a competing geographical area. Agreement was possible

Region Manager (Langley, British Columbia) (May 2002 - September 2008)

Reporting to the Western Division Vice President was responsible for leading full-scale operations of the British

Columbia region, with annual operating revenues in excess of $60 million.

Developed and maintained strong working relationships with key customers, including Lafarge, Shell

Canada, Teck, Imperial Oil, BNSF Rail and CXY Chemicals.

Created and presented annual revenue and operating budgets, and quarterly/annual operating reports.

Championed the development of safety initiatives and driver training standards for the B.C. Region,

with many initiatives adopted throughout Canadian operations as “Best Practices.”

operations (Mercury Tank Lines) as well as Thunder Bay, Ontario Branch operations, in addition to assisting

with Branch operations in Oakville, Ontario.

Successfully turned around a seriously faltering operation in Thunder Bay. Achieved a $1.1 million

swing in EBT within 24 months.
