Marketing and Sales Operations Manager- Sturtevant, WI

Responsible for marketing activity for the Education and Government sales
organization. This included the management of sales operations function,
the literature fulfillment operation and the Government bidding process.
Activities included new product launch, marketing material development,
portfolio evaluation and pricing registration management.
Continuous Improvement Manager- Sturtevant, WI

Responsibilities focused on the use of Continuous Improvement tools to
improve the processes within the Global and North American
commercialization processes. Proficient in the use of the tools of Lean
Six Sigma, A3, Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC and DMAIC process. Projects
include supporting Supply Chain on yield improvement, process mapping and
process improvement of various support groups.
Canadian Multi-Plant Manufacturing Manager- Diversey, Inc. London Ontario,
Canada 7/2007-10/2011
Responsibilities included operational direction for all Canadian
Manufacturing facilities (London, Candiac Quebec, and Edmonton Alberta).
Areas of accountability included safety, quality, cost controls, on time
delivery of production schedule, capital budget, cost saving programs,
continuous improvement efforts, environmental performance, labor relations
and manufacturing and facility maintenance. Managed 135 employees; annual
operating budget of $20MM.
. Implemented a Quality improvement process that resulted in Right First
Time improvement from 95 - 99.4%. Reduced scrap generated by $200,000
per year
. Implemented a multifaceted Safety program that drove the Recordable
injury rate from 6.8 to 1.3 IFR.
. Drove a set of process improvements to improve Plant Schedule
Adherence with resultant improvement from 85 to 95% . Backorders
were reduced from $100,000 average to $23,000 average in 2011.
. Implemented a Continuous Improvement program that included the launch
and development of Mission Directed Work team for the entire London
facility including hourly and salary teams. Developed plant vision
with clear direction on goals of Quality, Speed, Cost, People and
Safety.
. Drove the progression of Mission Directed Work Teams and employee
engagement within the London facility which resulted in 89%
satisfaction rating on the Employee Engagement survey
. Key Driver in the successful implementation and planned start up of 2
new production lines in the London facility. The manufacturing
quality and service levels were maintained at high level during 4
month construction in 2011.

the North American commercialization process for new product introduction
and product changes. Department was part of the Marketing organization and

filing lines for non-round plastic bottles, 3 horizontal form, fill and
seal lines producing Glade Plug-ins and a central palletizing operation.

Windex Outdoor, Glade Spin Fresh, and the DIY line of products.
