Provider of detailed engineering documentation used for the implementation of new IP networking
and SAN infrastructure in client’s new datacenters. Lead engineer responsible for the engineering
implementation of the IP networks (Nexus 7010s, 5020, 5596, 2232 and 2248, 6509VOE) and SAN
infrastructure in client’s new datacenters.
Accomplishments:
• Recipient of Raytheon’s two highest IT award, the 2011 Corporate Excellence
in Information Technology Award and the 2011 CIO Excellence in Information Technology
Award.
• Implemented Network infrastructure networks (Nexus 7010, 5020, 2232 and 2248,
6509VOE) in less than 15 days under an accelerated 30-day timeline for Data Center2
• Completed Network infrastructure networks ( Nexus 7010, 5596, 2232 and 2248,
6509VOE) ahead of schedule and passed designed review destructive testing for Data Center 1
with no major issues to resolve.
• Completed more than 2000 connections for Network and SAN devices in Datacenter

Responsible for the Design, Engineering and Implementation of the Core Network Implementation
2.0 Project (CNI2.0) and to provide day to day operation support.
Accomplishments:
• Implemented EIGRP Routing at the access layer Cisco 3560 Switches
• Completed a review of the pros and cons of Cisco VSS implementation using 6509-E/Sup720B
Switches and recommended that it not be use unless full redundancy was implemented at the
same time.

Designed and engineered network connectivity and produced implementation documentation,
including detailed configuration instructions for the Network Integration team to successfully

saving the client several million dollars.

Client: Verizon Wireless
Supported the revitalization of client’s datacenter infrastructure, by upgrading the datacenter core,
distribution and sever switches, replacing all components within the switch and converting the
operating system from CatOS to IOS.
Accomplishments:
• Completed revitalization of 10 pair of network switches with no impact to client’s end users.

Client: Alliance Data Systems
Responsible for insuring that client’s network infrastructure was PCI complaint and supported day to
day operation of core network activates.
Accomplishments:
• Sanitized 12 firewalls and purged firewall logs to insure PCI compliance was maintained.
SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST August 2000 to May 2008
Progression: MBNA to Bank of America to HP Enterprise Services
HP Enterprise Services, Plano, TX
Developed and delivered the design, engineering and implementation instructions for connecting
MBNA’s Data Network into Bank of America’s Data Network. Planned and designed facilities,
including datacenters and LAN Closets for Network Hardware installation and implementation.
Designed and implemented DWDM network between MBNA’s four (4) Delaware campuses
utilizing Gigabit Ethernet circuits connecting to Cisco switches and routers. Provided third level
support for production network outages and consulted on any severity 2 and 3 outages. Helped
design and build MBNA’s OC3 Backbone Network.
Accomplishments:
• Lead team that designed and totally reengineered MBNA’s data network without any severity
1 outages.
• Successfully rebuilt three (3) datacenters and server farms network (UNIX, and
Windows/Intel), increasing capacity, reliability and redundancy and failover capabilities.
• Lead the project that designed, engineered and implemented MBNA’s VideoIP network
resulting in a $200K/month cost savings.
• Developed Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), Standard Products List and site type
templates to insure consistency in implementation instructions, product selection and
resources within sites of the same type.
• Financially engineered purchases of more than $65MM of network hardware resulting in a
45% reduction in technology cost.
• Developed and designed IP address schema for implementation of MBNA new Global Data
Network.
• Successfully decommissioned and transformed MBNA’s network into Bank of America’s
network.
