Directly responsible for analyzing DOT/FTA programs and policies, assisting
with the creation of the annual budget request for the Office of Management
and Budget, and the budget justification for Congress. Responsible for
maintaining the $65 million annual salary budget for the Federal Transit
Administration. Responsible for executing the Federal Transit
Administration's security process in assigning position sensitivity and
national security requirements for positions, assigning required background
checks, and maintaining PIV card procedures. Provided oversight of internal
financial audits of administrative expense and personnel procedures. In the
Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) at the Department of Education
responsibilities have included: working on policy initiatives to increase
college graduation rates, devising programs and initiatives to increase
military and veteran educational opportunities, creating a symposium of
higher education and business leaders to develop innovations in
postsecondary learning, and working directly with higher education and
business leaders on implementing innovations in learning. As a Presidential

Directed the supply and logistics functions for over 500 personnel,
including budgeting, contracting, staff supervision and evaluation, and
created operational procedures for command structure financial structure
while deployed. Provided auditing oversight of Navy Reserve Center Supply
