Objective: Seeking employment anywhere and employer providing medical insurance or at least part of

Qualifications and Experience: Measurement, Telecommunications and Control Automation. These
disciplines include electrical work, security equipment installation and repair including DVRs for recording
multiple cameras (some PTZ) monitoring and alarm both local and remote with dialers, radio, microwave,
SCADA, any electronic installation or repair work to the component level, High Voltage work experience
with 8000 HP motors and their switch gear, 117KV Sub-Station, as well as general maintenance. I have
some skill with sheet metal work and installation, forklift training for cleaning/making room in warehouse
and unloading trucks. I have worked for years on backup power systems, chargers, solar panels, battery
banks, and UPS systems, HVAC work in control rooms and remote radio/telecommunication sites.
Computer Network training including routers, terminal servers, switches, modems, copper & fiber-optics,
wireless access points, firewalls. Telephone work includes Nortel Key Systems, NorStar with voice mail
and Option 11 with Meridian Mail. PLC training for automation includes (control of cooling fans, pumps,
motors, monitors on compressors and their drivers as well as safety shutdown systems) Bristol, AB and
Siemans including SoftShop, RSLogics. I have also trained on gas flow computers, regulators, relief
valves and monitor valves, GCs, insertion probes and moisture analyzers. I worked in the TV and Radio
Repair business for 3 years (Sidney Electronics, Greenville, MS, started 1976) and then became self-
employed in 1979 working on all types of electronic equipment and Tower/Antenna installations as well as
commercial video games & poker machines (R-Tronics, TV & Electronic Services, Greenville, MS & West
End Pawn Shop & Amusement Co., Greenville, MS) repair cable TV equipment part time for local Cable
Company and install TV cable and telephone outlets and systems for homes and business until 1990
when I went to work for Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. in Greenville, MS, where I was responsible for up to
4 Compressor Stations, The MS River Crossing, 5 Microwave Radio Sites (10 MW sites at one period)
and about 14 Meter Stations. I also trained and tested other employees whose work ran over into
Measurement, Controls or Telecommunications. I was the Area's "A" & "B" Level Evaluator for these 3
disciplines to keep other employees qualified on preforming DOT Task (Operation Qualification or OpQual
Program).
Measurement: Responsible for maintaining meters and electronic measurement equipment at remote
measurement sites along Pipeline to customers (small towns, industrial business’ and power plants).
Ensure all meter test and inspections preformed on time to meet Company Policy and Federal DOT
Requirements. This includes working with many different types and sizes of meters for natural gas
measurement. This included PD, Rotary, Single & Dual Rotor Turbines, Turbines with AutoCorectors,
Orifice and Ultrasonic Meters from 2 inch to 16 inch Runs and Stations with multiple Runs, some with
different types of meters, tube switching, pressure and flow control and bi-directional meter stations.
Telecommunications: Responsible for maintaining telephone (Nortel Key Systems, NorStar with voice mail
and Option 11 with Meridian Mail) and computer network equipment and wiring (including fiber optic) at
compressor stations as well as SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) equipment at Remote
Mainline Valve Sites, meter stations and communication relay sites, Microwave radio.
Controls: Responsible for maintaining safety devices (warning and shutdown), monitoring equipment,
automation on recipes and electric motors, Fire and Gas detection systems and compressor station
building and station shutdown systems. Maintaining current testing and test documentation for Company
and Federal DOT Regulations. PLC work and calibration of several different types of transmitters and end
devices (Temperature, pressure, differential pressure, level transmitters and float switches).
Education: Graduated Saint Joseph High School in 1974, Graduated Mississippi Delta Junior College in
1976 with AS Degree in Electronic Technology, 3.7 GPA.
