Resume:

To whom it may concern:

As a young boy I excelled at the sports of wrestling and swimming at the

state and national levels. At the age of 17 I received a draft notice for

the Army, spurring my decision to join the Naval reserves and thereafter

served as a Naval plane captain in the Vietnam conflict. In 1971, I was

honorably released from active duty, remaining in the reserves until 1973

when I was honorably discharged after 6 years of service.

After discharge from active duty, I went to the College of Alameda, and

acquired an associates degree in fashion arts. Upon graduating, I started

a furniture business: designing, building and re-upholstering for

residential, commercial, and Marine applications--also obtaining skills in

interior decorating along the way. By 1976, the business had become

successful enough to allow me the time and money to start studying the

martial arts (Tae Kwon Do). In 1979, my Tae Kwon Do master and I opened up

a Do Jang (school) in San Francisco that is still active today in the same

building in which we started it. In 1983 there was an opportunity to

develop attractive real estate in North Lake Tahoe. I determined to sell

my business and moved to the mountains. At this point I took some time

off, built a house, and learned the sports the mountains had to offer. In

1987 the oldest upholstering business in the Tahoe Basin became available

for purchase. After purchasing the business, I quickly built it into a

lucrative operation which gave me more free time to enjoy the way of life I

had learned to love in the mountains. In 2007, the economy crashed, at

which time I closed the business and retired. I am now eager to return to

the work force. For whomever provides me with the opportunity to join

their company, I can bring my enthusiasm, energy, wide range of business

skills and experience. I am confident I will be a great asset.

Sincerely yours,

David Nuoffer
